I am for removing crossplay too. Some PC players may not cheat. They are either very good or there is just the difference between M&K and Controller. Either way i don't want to play against PC players either.
i've said it here numerous times and will say it again. A toggle to turn off crossplay is not good enough. Eventually most players turn it on to find matches quicker. It is a chain reaction. Crossplay needs to be removed completely in the next game.
It does ruin the fun i had for 20 years. - @JOGAGATYA Yeah I agree. I am a PC player also but not for BF mostly for CS2. I have BF on PS. I have run into a couple cheaters I need to turn off cross play despite the slower que times. But when I play with friends I have to have cross play on as some of my buddies are playing on PC.

Lot of good points.
- JOGAGATYA7 months agoSeasoned Ace@Lockes-87 I guess everyone should decide to either stick to one system, or have 2 systems and play on pc or console depending on which friends are online. Crossplay could ruin this franchise, and potentially could cause financial hardship for the developers.

I fully support this and hope they implement better Crossplay in the next battlefield.
I play on PC and PS5, when you’re on console it’s much harder to keep up and even if you do you’re still at a huge disadvantage like lower FPS and higher input delay.
I am praying for console only Crossplay, if you want to play with friends on PC you then get placed into PC lobbies.
This is the way EA.

Dividing the player base especially if it isn't large enough to have full servers of each platform in different regions seems like a mistake to me. I hope they can find a better way to do crossplay too. Removing it is an awful decision imo.

Depends. Some are saying Crossplay is what keeps the game alive, and to some extent that's true right now with BF2042, or at least I get servers with mostly Console players, but if the game was received better on PC, maybe that wouldn't be such a problem? It wasn't in prior titles.
My two complaints about Crossplay is the Aim Assist, particularly the "Snap to Target", and the second thing being desync, which seems to prioritize Console players from my experience. Cheaters and Console players with Aim Assist feel almost identical.
On PC, I personally don't care about Consoles and what they want, but Aim Assist should be reverted back to what it was prior to the buff it received in 2042. Snap to target was increased by four times! This needs to go. I almost forgot, Controller players get a 25% recoil reduction as well, that needs to be removed as well. That's ridiculous.
TLDR; As a PC player, please ditch Crossplay.

It's mixing up the two pools of players though. So there's PC and Console players in every lobby, you'll never get a lobby of one or the other right now. So there's probably enough players for each platform to have their own lobbies, especially earlier in the games life.

Im sick of all consol players destroying the servers with their aim assist. Makes the servers unstable and ttk and hitreg goes off the roof

I despise the aim assist on console controllers. Mouse and Keyboard users should play amongst themselves. Aim assist console users shall play on each other! It is pure *snip* how I am constantly sniped by console users from the other side of the map.
