BF2042: a love letter to the fans
That was the biggest lie told by EA, yet. I want to love this game as I have in all it's past iterations, but the lack of support from the get go makes me wish I bought it on Steam. At least they know how to treat their customers, rolling back their refund policy on a game that was broken since day one. I started playing BF with 1942 primarily for the vehicles, it was the whole reason i got into PC gaming. Releasing a squad based game that has always featured Air to Air combat with no joystick support and no VOIP. What were they thinking? They built a game for consoles and It's a slap in the face to their longest playing supporters on PC. Trying to get a refund out of EA, is just an endless circle of "Sorry, you waited to long giving us a chance to fix our game that we can't give you a refund". I'm almost at the point of going with the chargeback route and scrapping my whole account, that's how dissatisfied I am. So congrats, EA. You're policies just guaranteed I will not be buying anymore of your games in the future.
