How long will we let EA/DICE gaslight their player base?There are not a lot of hackers though at the rate they ban hackers (they don't), there may as well be infinite because the same cheaters (have only confirmed 1) have been playing for months.I called a cheater out and you know what happened the next game? I got killed 1 - 15. The guy was a homing missile. Storming across the map just to kill and teabag me.I wasn't annoyed tbh, it was just blatantly clear that EA/DICE could not give a * about the 1000s of reports against this player; that's what is annoying. There is even a YT video showing the cheating, it has been provided to EA/DICE - nothing.So I have tried other avenues to report and have just 1 hacker banned, that's literally all an entire region wants. MORE TIME AND EFFORT THAN I OR ANYONE SHOULD NEED TO SEEK.All responses are to report in a game like the 1000s of other times everyone and myself have already done.So tell me, why the * should any of us buy another EA game if they don't even have the capacity to: a) first make the game properly and b) maintain the game they couldn't make properly.EA/DICE will continue to spit in our faces after scamming us out of $100 for this half-polished * of a game and they will do it again and again.

I'm not sure how you can tell the difference between someone cheating and lousy servers with a poorly coded game.I've come to realize that what I'm seeing on my screen isn't exactly what is happening on the server in the match.How many time have you put the first 5-10 shots into an enemy player and lost the gun fight? Too many to call this game legitimate.

Of course there are cheaters. People are developing a commerical product and its making them a ton of money. That doesn't happen if no one is using them. There is plenty of gaslighting. Rage hackers have never been the problem. Its the careful cheaters that gain the advantage. DICE removed spectator mode, scoreboard, all chat, etc. because they just don't want people discussing it. They believe that discussion of the the problem is bad for the brand and promotes more of it.Just look at the Activision lawsuit against Engine Owning. They even state in the suit that "Among the customers of the Cheating Software are high-profile streamers of the COD Games who reside in the United States." You can bet that if high-profile streamers are willing to risk cheating (btw, the cheat software cleans the stream so you can't see the overlay), that Joe Sixpack is willing to do the same. Just because someone is very good at the game, doesn't meant they don't augment those skills with software. Insiders know the truth. I just hope someone eventually goes on record and exposes it.

@ChinaNumaWaaaan Anyone that says something like they've never seen a cheater yet, or they've only seen a few cheaters max, etc, either mains Solo or are living in a fantasy world.It's a real shame that people are sad enough to cheat, what's worse is they'll never be completely stopped.

@ChinaNumaWaaaan Most of the cheaters are discreet and not ones that are even blatant. You can tell just how much gameplay shifted in the last couple of months. Not to mention the console auto-aim bs(which some are probably using a Cronus). I am having players constantly chucking grenades right in front of me from vast distances with no clear line of sight in front of me as soon get to an area. Not in my vicinity like literally if I am prone right in front of my face. Some people are moving around like mad men speed-wise and snapping to targets on the move so fast the animation does not even catch up.

I just came back to playing BF, and 2042 plays like BF4 whiched I liked.
But the last few days I have noticed the same cheaters with massive K/D in the 20 plus range while on foot, they had spiders on them when it came to bullets, nothing touched then.
A few mates and I called them out and low and behold the next map, they were getting hammered and back to a 2/1 ratio.
Ea and the cheaters don't seem to realise all it does is ruin the game

@ChinaNumaWaaaan I'm over 400 hours played and have yet to see one obvious hacker that I couldn't account for being netcode/lag/crossplay ttk/etc. Maybe it's your region.

@Macross001 Massive KD is more than 20? Really? I’m an average player and get into the 20s all the time. Had 34 once, was super happy. I’ve watched a player in a MAV on Breakthrough go 108-0, they manned the 60mm and the driver was good. I was also on the MAV and they were not cheating. Stealth pilots go over 50 all the time. My buddies plays infantry and also go over 20 all the time. I play in North America servers and don’t see many hackers at all out here, I can’t speak to your specific region issues as I have no experience with them, but having 20 for your level that means someone is hacking is way too low. You have to look at their play and how they’re doing it. If you report they can tell if they’re cheating. If they weren’t banned, chances are they’re not cheating. In over 900 hours, I’ve reported maybe 4?

@ATFGunr Even as infantry I can easily go 25-30 kills without dying once when using my go-to setup and playing a a good map

It's very obvious when someone is cheating. And even easier to bait when you are sus on a player.
When someone has an odd sense of awareness that almost seems like they are going out of their way to find you against the grain of play or when they prefire your corner.
It's easier to bait with smoke or pretend that you are going to run around a corner.
When you are dead on the floor watching them track players through walls on the kill cam and snap on spread targets and prefiring.
There aren't a lot of cheaters or perhaps, there aren't a lot of blatant cheaters.
But I now know of 2 that are confirmed in the OCE region, a region that doesn't hold a massive population in the game as we get a fair amount of bots in the lobby.
The weirdest thing about complaining of cheaters in the game is people are so quick to defend the game and denounce that there are cheaters. If there are cheaters in any game, why wouldn't the community rally to do something about it. If EA/DICE refuse to recognise cheaters and deal with them appropriately, why shouldn't we all cheat? There are no ramifications.
I'm not saying that I will but it would be interesting to see how long I could get away with blatant cheating just to prove a point.
