Thats always been a issues with consoles .. but with Elite controlers you can remap your stuff . Of course if you dont have an elite controler then it might be a issue i dont know ..
I have not try it on controler yet . but i would have guess its similar to bad company wich i played a ton of Heli on Xbox and playstation . If not its weird .
Anyway i dont know why consoles dont have button remapping in all games just like PC does

@Stew360 I do have a controller that is remapable for that exact same reason. Between games I'm always changing controls but it does not work on Battlefield 2042 sadly.
