BF2042 is good now, but what can make it great ?
So, we all have to apreciate the work that DICE has done to improve this game by making it a lot better than before, and also the fact that they didn't give up on it like soome thought they would do.
I'm finnaly enjoying the game and I play it more often now, but what might make me play it for every single day just like I used to do with othe BFs, like BF3 & BF4.
Here is a list of what I believe would make this game GREAT for BF veterans :
Mixed server browser
A server browser that has both official servers and comunity servers would be a great adition, right now most of the comunity servers are Hardcore, I'm not saying I hate Hardcore but I just don't wanna play it every day. A mixed browser would let us find more servers and introduce us to others.
I just don't like the fact that after every round I get kicked to the main menu to start looking for another match, I just want it to be like Portal, once the round is over a new map starts, and you know for sure it's gonna be a different map.
Specialists per Faction
Yes, I know that many have asked for this before, and I don't think it's too late, having different specialists per faction would be great, at least you can differenciate between an enemy and a friendly just by looking at them.
Imagine if -for an example- we will have Zain as the Russian Assault and Sundance as the US Assault, and we would have to choose between there speciality in the deployment menu.
Portal Faction in BF2042
The title says it, If I can choose between BF3, BC2 and 42 soldiers and vehicles in the game, that would be more than GREAT, of course they would have their own weapons and customization.
But what if it was like Star Wars Battlefront 2, where some characters and vehicles are free, while others you have to use a score that you collect during the round to use them. In this case BF3, BC2 characters and vehicles would be free, and 42 would require a certain score (objectives score probablly).
Number of vehicles
Not all maps should have the same amount of vehicles, some are medium scale focused on infantry and others are large scale focused on vehicles, unfortunetly the numbers are the same for all maps.
Orbital -for an example- is a large scale map, it needs to have (per team) : 1 Bomber (A10), 2 Jets, 1 Ah6, 2 Attack Helis, 1 Transport Heli, 2 LAVs, 4 Tanks, 1 Heavy tank, 1 AA, 2 Armored transport vehicle, 6 Light transport vehicles.
BF4 was 64 players only and some maps had a lot of vehicles.
Rectangle Large scale maps
Older BFs had these layouts :
Lineaire --> Infantry only.
Square --> Medium scale focused on infantry with fewer vehicles.
Rectangle --> Large/Huge scale maps focused on vehicles.
Levolution/ Destruction/ More remastered maps...
and more large scale maps for custom conquest in Portal.
I know I have probably exagerated but if the game would have all of this forget about other FPS games.
