Bots, matchmaking and deaths

Hi everyone,

This post is meant in good intention. I genuinely like the game (BF6) and have been a fan of EA since I used to play Need For Speed Most Wanted on the console as a kid.

My questions are the following:

  1. Why when I am around rank 50 I am seeing players 300, 400 rank in my game lobby? I usually play Escalation. Also are these real players that have grinded the game a lot (I struggle to understand how they play so much) or are they bots that look like real players with stats fed into an account.
  2. Is matchmaking really that poor that it puts such high ranked players against others in the lobby or is EA just mixing in the odd high rank player/bot to make it interesting?
  3. I have died so many times to a close quater engagement where I have an Close range AR (TR-7) and the other person has AR/LMG and they out gun me even though I see them first and start shooting first? I'm not a novice to FPS and I know how critical damage works but something to me seems flawed with the damage system. Somehow I keep getting instant flicked on when I already have the advantage and get out DPS'ed so easily. (This last point also makes me believe the players are just bots that land headshots).

I think these make the game a bit unpredictable in the sense that it's uncertain what the path of advancement is for a player and how can I get so out played in this game it's a bit ridiculous.
