They might be stupid, but they are definitely not THAT stupid. In the end, they want to earn money.
I would predict that the amount of pre-orders will be A LOT lower next time. So, they have to deliver something that ACTUALLY holds up until after release and not only something that looks good in trailers. A Battlefield BR attempt now failed several times and the whole specialist debacle should also have taught them a lesson. I think we can be pretty sure that next BF will have classes again -- and definitely no BR.
