C5 is perfect the way it is. Its hard enough to get close to vehicles just to deploy c5 properly in these massive wide open maps. The last thing c5 needs is a nerf. Dice just needs to fix the c5 drone move. C5 shouldn't be able to stick to drones

You're not doing it right then. The amount of parachuting out of helicopters from half way around the map and deploying it on top of me is insane. Another feature exasperating this is how long it takes players to get back in a tank. If I die I usually have to wait another 5 minutes before a tank becomes available to me because of the "vehicle spawn timer" all in all, it is going to be an unenjoyable grind for tanks, and they were already less powerful in bf1 and bfv compared to bf3 and bf4.

Do you all see people using this C5 drone technique a lot? I haven't seen it myself, or at least I haven't noticed. I can see it being a little more overpowered for a mode like Hazard Zone since lives are limited.
- 4 years ago@EA_Blueberry i have been using it alot also saw some teammates use it it is op currently in 1 game i destroy like 12 tanks with it from distance they cant hear or see me if i would play as a tank i would be mad

It's far from perfect due to what appears to be silent approaching footsteps and silent charge placement.
This could be due to the audio mix in general which seems too 'busy'.
And no tank apart from a complete noob is getting C5'ed sitting in the middle of a wide open area. And no player apart from a noob is attempting to approach a tank sitting in a wide open area. Tanks are getting C5'ed in built up areas where its easy for infantry to hide or just parachute in from the many vertical parts of the map.
- 4 years ago@zakrocz Exactly. If you're in a tank and in a tight space with short lines of sight then you deserve to get blown up with C5. IMOnthats exactly the way it should work. The recoiless is better at taking out armor at a distance and C5 is better in close in a tight area. Its working as intended

@zakrocz
well the silent approach and the fact that you can toss C5 much farther than you could in bf3/bf4 adds to why people can easily sneak up on tanks and destroy them.- 4 years ago

I've been blown up more with C5 than any other way so far and every time there was no enemy soldier audio that gave me the slightest hint I was about to be blown up.
This was a feature in previous games which could save an alert tanker, not anymore with 2042.

LOL no it isn't you can easily rush vehicles with c5 in 2042, the mere numbers of overwhelming players 128 makes it a joke to do

i just 50 cal the drones from afar its quite easy
- 4 years ago@Hudson009 You can 50 cal moving drones from far? You must have god aim then.

By what logic? C5 can stick to anything but you don't want drones used as Kamikaze? Have you had your cake yet?
