well the silent approach and the fact that you can toss C5 much farther than you could in bf3/bf4 adds to why people can easily sneak up on tanks and destroy them.

They are not being silent, the game is not playing the audio of their footsteps and it is also not playing any audio of the C5 being placed.
I've been blown up more with C5 than any other way so far and every time there was no enemy soldier audio that gave me the slightest hint I was about to be blown up.
This was a feature in previous games which could save an alert tanker, not anymore with 2042.
