@Camocheese Back when you could frisbee C4 with a jump as you throw it? That was a little over the top but you can’t throw C5 like that so really it seems fine as it is. Since it takes 3 to kill a tank, a player needs to be able to carry three. While I’m not convinced it needs a nerf at all, if it did maybe just to splash damage.

@ATFGunr I have no issues with the amount you can carry. I think it's fine that you can carry enough to destroy a tank, that's how it should be in fact. But right now you can kinda you use C5 like C4 is used in Call of Duty which is not how it should be. You can throw one around the corner and easily blow up infantry that way. And since you can throw them so fast you can easily follow up a hitmarker with another C5 to finish them off if one wasn't enough. When it comes to C5 against infantry it should only really work in some limited situations like creating traps or destroying a wall. Not throwing them around corners and getting multikills for days.

@Camocheese I’ve been messing around with it since the last missions where we had to, and maybe it’s because I suck but I’ve been finding they don’t throw nearly as far as C4 and the lag between the throw and being able to trigger has made me miss lots of kills while I take a burst to the chest. I recognize people can be better than me and I’m ok with that. My forays into twitch play are in my rear view mirror, the old reflexes ain’t what they used to be. The average player isn’t getting hundreds of kills with C5.

@CountSero I agree with @ZRuff46, my interpretation about the increased usage of C5 is, that Sundance now uses C5 instead of their second grenade. C5 now has about the same range, bigger blast radius that the shatter grenades, and less damage falloff. And you get an unlimited supply from near ammo crates.

@Psubond C5 should be nerfed against infantry, like Lis rocket got nerfed.
You should need a headshot with C5 to kill infantry.
And as we are at iut, the Recoilless M5 needs the same nerf.
Ah, and only one in the inventory, like the frag grenade and Sundance grenades.

@kregora yeah, but I still think that the overuse comes from the Weekly mission, now players are forced to use it and many players get a taste for easy kills, that among them are also Sundance players was only a matter of time.

Reduce the throwing range to 1 meter and double the explosion radios and it's over with the fun time^^ (or you kill your self when doing it)

But in general this is also a problem by many players themselves, they don't play for the win most of them still play for the K/D and to annoy other player.

This can also be seen in the missions for the vehicles. Many do not play the featured portal mode for this but camp in Breakthru in their main base and play artillery.

Yeah, I also used C5 but after I had the number of multi kills I switched back to the ammo crate or the med kit. This supoorts my team more then C5 throwing.

Now i have Angel at T1, so i moved on to Irish the use med kid only^^

@CountSero I prefer to go to my favorite solution: Enable friendly fire, and the shenanigans have an end.
