Cheaters on battlefield 2042
Great job updating the game but please make a better anticheat. You guys don't care about it because your numbers are up. Unacceptable. Fix it or I'm completely done. I been playing since bad company...
Where do you get that they don't do anything and if so what do you suggest for anticheat? You are the one who has to come to the realization of the situation that it doesn't get better than this, the job that AC does can almost be described as going out and trying to pat a swarm of mosquitoes to death with your hands on a summer evening, not an easy task or rather a completely impossible task . Interpreting the 2 answers above, the EAC seems to work perfectly fine as they haven't seen a cheater in hundreds of hours and have to "tell" you about it.
I will say that I have seen a few very suspicious players, people that have uncanny game awareness.
But the amount of spotting in this game is a total joke and it could of course be a matter of being spotted (which we must expect to be all the time).
Other games using EAC still have cheaters (Apex etc), but compared to earlier BF-titles, BF2042 is very "clean" and cheaters are not really a problem (I haven't felt it at least).
My guess is server anomalies. I swear on most servers what I'm seeing is actually a second or 2 behind what is really happening. As explained above about the getting shot after you've turned the corner by 10 feet.
Hard to tell on a game that is as broken as this one is. That being said I did see a player put up over 400 points in a CQ round with over 220 kills while the next guy had 35.
Could have been flag spamming in a Helo though.
There are plenty of cheats being sold for this game. The cheat providers aren't developing and maintaing them for their health. People are buying and using them. Rage hackers have never been the issue. It's the closet cheats that gain the advantage. Part of DICE's new anti-cheat strategy has been to minimize the awareness of the issue. This was the real reason for removal of the scoreboard, removal of all chat, and removal of spectator mode. Cheating and being good at the game aren't mutually exclusive. There are very good players who also augment their ability with cheats to get an extra advantage. Even pro's have been caught live doing this. You can guarantee that some high skill amateurs also do this from their home.
Lets not forget the "modded" controllers.

@SpoolaZthe main reason is because i know from personal experience that there are enough players throwing hackusation like its free candy...
not every player who kills you is cheating and not every player who has a plus 3 KD is cheating i have heard both statements before...
and teh current reference is BFV a game that had next to no working anti-cheat so yeah not having seen any rage hackers in 500+h is a big win in my book
Rage hackers is one thing. Doesn't mean there ain't people with same hacks who's gaining advantage and ruins other people's games. Rage hackers is just worst of them. Pretty sure I've seen few careful hackers.
I'm way more bothered by people quietly using wallhacks and subtly configured aimbots vs. obvious rage cheaters. Because, with closet cheats you don't know where the skill actually is. There are ways to configure the cheat engines to only make very minute micro adjustments to aim (lots of configuration options). So you do 99% of the aim work, and the software makes the micro adjustment when you fire to get the hit. You can randomize hitbox location, etc. Without spectator mode it's impossible to determine if those are in use. We know they are out there. Because the cheat providers continue to develop, market, sell, and update the software. They don't do that unless people are buying them.
