But that was MANY years ago, when we were younger. Now we are all >40, many of us over 50 years old, slower and most of the time we are lucky if we can fill two squads.
But indeed, the sole motivation many of us now have to play Battlefield is to chat with each other via TeamSpeak WHILE playing a game at the same time. We also try our best to be good at the game, but even with 8 or so of us we still lose if we are in a bad team. You can't win a game with 8 average players, even if they are organized and communicating and even if we are the best squad. Maybe we are just too bad. But to be honest, the ONLY reason to play is the friends to play together with. On my own I would NEVER play Battlefield. But this is not the fault of BF2042 as this was the same for older titles. It is a game that you play together with friends or not at all. I am aware that many players out there have a different view. This is mine, but I share that view with most if not all of my clan mates.
