Comparison Vdieo

So something always felt "off" to me in the visuals of 2042, not necessarily bad but I couldn't put my finger on it. Then I saw this comparison video and it made me realize that all of these little details for just the animations alone, dating back to even bf3 add up and go a long way when giving you the unique bf experience and immersed you in the game. Now these are probably not as important as gameplay frustrating bugs or core features but I feel like they can be easily overlooked, and they shouldn't be for a title that has always prided itself on visuals/sound/fluidity.

Is it nitpicking? Maybe, but it doesn't feel like a game from 2021 or next gen. Thoughts?

I noticed early on that objects like vases didn't shatter when they were shot at, nor does your character need to roll when hitting the ground from a height, like they do in BF5. I guess these specialists are just damn tough!

But yeah, so many little things have been forgotten about, either it was for time saving or the new Devs just aren't as good, or have the passion, as the original DICE guys and gals.

I'd imagine it was to save time, who needs AAA level animations when there's a release date coming up, is that how it works EA?

This all seems to have bitten you very hard in the *, and somehow you didn't see it coming?

All you needed to do was take a good look at all the stuff that worked in previous games and build on that. But no, all that was scrapped in favour of a game no one asked for or wanted, except the accountants.

What can I say, BF2042 looks like a discount version of BF.
