I'm in UK and finding a PS5 server only is actually quicker than having Crossplay on. I presume it's because most turn it off now and I get no problem getting into games including Hazard Zone apart from after midt when it takes about 30 seconds longer.
you are a lucky one. It's literally impossible to play in the morning for me. I can get a game in the evening. On my day off yesterday I tried from 8am until 12pm and nothing! This is on the PS5, cross play off, US West Coast.
As of now, from the responses received, it looks like the EU, UK, and possibly Japan are the regions where players can find matches with cross-play off. It would be great if we can keep this thread on top, so that someone from DICE acknowledges the problem.
I have been playing mostly multiplayer and haven't had any issues at all, didnt even think about cross play on/off tbh as it was so smooth.....However, once i started playing portal and got into a bit of coding it took me best part of the week to do and test different bits which is fine, but then when u have reached your end goal after a good few hours a night tweaking things to find your sat in a server for hours on end with no one joining you realise there is a problem on EA side of things, i have tried every setting going and found none to be of particular use, (i do have the PvP bots before anyone asks) i altered internet connection and strangely enough on wifi i seemed to connect to more pc/xbox players than ps5......now bearing in mind on multiplayer ps5 servers they seem easy to match for me but when you go outside for a change of scenery i think EA has big issues with net code or something to that effect. I have also had messages of people joining server and then not coming in and when u search recent with L3 i think it is you see players in there which you didnt play with so i can't believe how bad it has been and had i known this from the start i wouldn't of gone into the portal side of things basically making a game with robots.

i'm in France and since the anticipated access (12 november) with crossplay off it's impossible to find a hazard zone game, in AOW it's ok (on xbox sx)
It's been a struggle for me since launch to find some fast console-only games on PS5. I can compete with PC players well enough but it's just a completely different dynamic when playing against them
Yep, same for me in Aus, can't get a console only game. It seems to have been this way since the 3.1 update.
on the ps4 and ps5 version I can't play. They sold me a game that if the servers were not filled, I would play against bots. and not even that.
i have yet to get into a hazard zone game with crossplay off on xbox series x. there’s so many people complaining about this. how have they not acknowledged it yet?
I've never had a problem finding a server with Crossplay off (UK, PS5) but last night I did notice a number of bots when I played breakthrough, hadn't noticed that before. Kind of ruined the match for me knowing that.
Definitely a console only Crossplay needed, and a native Keyboard + Mouse support for those wishing to play against PC. Surly these are relatively simple solutions to make happen.
Same here. Xbox One I NEVER find a match. Xbox X/S is a bit better but still long waits or no match found occasionally.
I am happy for those not having issues finding games but I’m becoming a bit perturbed at people on social media and on various forums bashing, insulting and defaming people because they’re simply wanting to find a match and they’re speaking out about it.
Mods and DICE/EA need to step up, speak out on the issue and stomp out the vile harassment.
I've had no issues on Xbox. There clearly are problems but it's not all player numbers it seems.
