It seems to me that the current aim assist is not programmed to snap at the enemy, but rather slow the aim speed when it approaches a target (indeed that is what is written in the game's text menu). This, however, leads to poor tracking as it makes it more difficult to properly put your crosshair onto your target. I often find myself shooting at the sides of the enemy rather than onto them. There are rare cases where I can feel the aim assist actually assisting me, specially when i get lucky enough to aim precisely on the target. I've been complaining about this since launch (Sorry), but they need to amp this up, or just include KBM support. The game is just frustrating at this point.
- 4 years ago@NeoHesper Aim assist is supposed to slow the aim when the crosshair on the target, but it doesn't work like this in this game, it looks like there is a magnet bubble around the target that drag your crosshair to the side.
