@Straatford87Overall good changes and I'll need to chew on them more, but this still feels underwhelming after a month of feedback and 5 months post launch. The game needs much, much, much more than this, but I guess y'all can't talk about anything else.
At least vehicle spam should be less awful, though now with a lot more awful Boltes and Little Birds which is gonna be a joy for the absolutely abysmal vehicle vs. infantry balance.
Edit: Why is the specialist feedback thread opening in a few weeks? Why not now? Where the hell is the urgency to fix this busted game and deliver consumers the game y'all promised and sold us on? Is bandwidth really this limited that only one area can be worked on at a time within DICE?

I know you'd like to see more of what's planned, and I can clarify that what we've shared today is only specific to the topic of Maps. There's more we are working on, but that's not a discussion for today. We'll follow-up in April with a similar discussion on Specialists, so looking forward to your feedback on that as well.

@Straatford87 regarding the changes to transport vehicles, will you be adding more spawns for ATV's / quadbikes?
The spawns for these are few and far between. A couple of these at most isolated capture points and main bases would go a long way.
Similarly, there really should be some kind of partially armoured light transport for quickly carrying 4 people. In previous games we had HMMV's, Vodniks and other transports.

Agree. What is missing in this game is transports that are used as transports. They have been give to much weaponry so that most people take them and use them to roam the battlefield and farm kills rather than getting infantry from A to B. Moving the Bolte to the Attack category is a step in the right direction, but I also think the 30mm cannon should not be an option on things like the LATV4 and the Hovercraft.

I'm sorry, but this glacial pace isn't going to work.
Please, if you would, pass on to the relevant people the notion that Dice ought to be upping the sense of urgency.
The player base isn't just decimated, its pretty close to collapse. We've waited months, for some changes to one map, and a bit of tweaking of vehicle behavior.
We will be waiting weeks more before you'll invite comments on specialists, despite there being thousands of words already written about them. And then maybe a month or more after that before anything concrete emerges.
And there's still no word about if, or when, Dice will address the oft requested server browser.
There are a myriad of missing core features that still need addressing. And working on one map at a time for months is just too slow.
Dice must speed up.
- 4 years ago@TAW_Rinko Sure seems like the reports of them moving the majority of the team to the next BF and left a skeleton crew on 2042 are more and more accurate.
Shame, imagine how much credibility DICE could win back going "all-in" on 2042 and delaying the next BF so they could deliver on their promises to fans with 2042. Would set them up for more success with the next BF title, but I guess DICE is still struggling to learn a lot of basic lessons.
Because I still don't believe the "we've learned out lesson" garbage. They're showing absolutely no evidence of that.

I agree, @Straatford87 why not start core feedback for specialists now. You guys keep dragging the feedback out and you will keep bleeding players.
