The game was built around specialists and they already said they are here to stay so it makes sense they weren't part of any current changes.
Changing flag positions and how vehicles work all tie in to on-foot traversial QoL; there is also more cover so I don't see why it is such a big deal.

@TTZ_Dipsy They did say that, yes. I was just hoping someone who actually played a BF game and had experience would be working at Dice and say "we should get rid of them. ASAP."
I'll put it in EA-terms. More players = more money. Most players did not want specialists, they want regular soldiers and no dumb one liners. No specialists = more players will probably come back = more money.
And technically, the specialists were built for the original BR/Hazard zone idea they had for the game and we all saw how that worked out lol

- 3 years ago@G-Recons Kind of dissapointed by their last publised message. Of all the thousand feedback post. Those were the points they managed to distill. Even some of the points are not about maps. "How many veichles-discussion" for instance is a important subject, but not a map subject per se.
And
"There’s two final things that we also heard and saw shared in your feedback this month that we wanted to bring to the forefront to solicit more input from all of you."
Not a roadmap that we have been requesting since launch.- edgecrusherO03 years agoSeasoned Ace@Zoikon ""How many veichles-discussion" for instance is a important subject, but not a map subject per se."
Highlighting how deadbrained the "singular focus topics" are given how interconnected everything in the game is. Why they're sticking with this backwards-* approach is beyond me. At least beyond this being the easiest way to "get feedback" and do the bare minimum until they can ship the next BF game for us to go out and totally buy because we totally have trust and confidence in DICE.
