These map changes are meaningless if we can't actually play on the maps themselves. As it is currently, the matchmaking system will queue you into the same map you just played. Sometimes you'll play that exact same map multiple times in a row. Other times you can play the game for an entire evening and not play the full map rotation. This problem needs to be solved and you already have the answer to it.
Implement a server browser and persistent servers for All Out Warfare. Every previous Battlefield game features a server browser for its main game modes and this game desperately needs it as well. If you're going to put all this time and effort into making map changes, make sure we can actually play those maps instead of getting stuck on Hourglass and Manifest for our entire play session.
We should be able to easily pull up a server browser and manually connect to a server running the game mode and map of our preference. And when that match ends, we should stay on that server while the map rotation continues to play the game mode we've chosen. Just like all the previous Battlefield games work. All this matchmaking nonsense of getting tossed back to the lobby after every match needs to be completely eliminated.
Also, one more thing to add. There seems to be no sense of urgency from EA or DICE on getting these and other changes into the game as fast as possible. Season 1 starting 9 months after the game launches is already unacceptable as it is. But telling us we'll have to wait for Season 2 to get all the launch maps updated is not confidence inspiring. I also don't know why the next Core Feedback session didn't begin today. There is absolutely no reason to wait.
These Core Feedback discussions need to be rapid fired at the community, one right after the other. Gather the feedback, make the changes, and let us enjoy the game. Don't draw out these feedback discussions to span out the entire year. Use your entire studio to revamp the game, just like you did with Battlefront 2 and Battlefield V's Pacific update. Battlefield 2042 has turned into a game of "hurry up and wait" for anything significant to happen to it.
