Cross-Progression question

Hello.

I just have simple question about cross-progression for bf2042. I am fully aware of the restrictions when it comes to cross save but I was just wondering what is the process for it? I was planning to move from PC to my ps5, but is there anything I have to do other than just re-buying the game on ps5? 

The way Destiny 2 have their cross save setup I would have to link my accounts together (Steam. PSN, Xbox, etc) on their website. Do I have to do something like that? Or just simply just re-buy the game and use the same origin account from PC on my ps5?
