Slow Leveling Weapons and Dead Lobbies

I have been trying to level up some weapons and now that lobbies are dead I was wondering if Dice would change the game play, such as allowing in solo/co-op modes to level weapons, so that faithful players like myself would be able to continue our progression in game.  I bought Battlefield 6 and I played all the way to season 2 unfortunately the game play is not the same and I feel 2042 has better skins as well. But that's just my personal opinion.
