yes it is, i have buy the game on xbox because they announced it will posssible to desactivate crossplay and because in the beta it was possible and now i have a useless game ...

It's effectively a non-working, unplayable, broken game for anyone on console who wants to play on a level playing field (which of course most would).
It's incredible that EA would release it with something so fundamental broken. Even more incredible that they'd sit back and not give any kind of update to the customers who've paid for the game on when this will be resolved. Never mind an apology.
I'll be looking for a refund. Like a lot of people, I've been through situations in the past (BF4 was a shocking mess) where they've taken peoples money and given them a completely broken or substandard product in return and I've put up with it. But at this point, I'm just not as big a fan of the franchise as I was in the past to put up with the contempt they show their customers.

To me this feels like a reading comprehension issue. It very clearly states if you turn off crossplay PC and console can't play together - nothing else. If you assumed otherwise the blame falls on you.
