Crossplay isnt the issue. Latency, general performance and poor gunplay is

So I was at first a believer in the fact that crossplay was the reason I was not having fun on this game. I was wrong. I was getting tired of getting killed by what seemed like impossible means by pc players almost all the time. I consider myself a preety above average player especially based on my stats. But i got sick of getting beam across the map (well outside the range) by the PP29 or just very obviously shooting them what feels like a dozen times in the back without missing for them to just turn on me and kill me. So I decided to turn off crossplay since ps plus has bf2042 for free and surprisingly i found a couple matches that were pretty full. I figured I was going to not have these issue. Boy was I wrong. I found myself still being killed by impossible means frequently. So honestly crossplay was never the issue, yea I think they do have an advantage and the aim assist in this game is absolutely awful and barely works half the time, but crossplay is not the issue. The issue is latency, general performance and gunplay. What you see on your screen is 99% of the time not what is happening on the other players screen. On your screen, you were already well around the corner but on their screen you still had 2 or 3 more steps until you got to that corner. On your screen, you shot them 7 or 8 times, but on their screen you never even fired your gun, or you only fired 2 or 3 bullets. On your screen you got like 10 hit markers, but on their screen you only hit them twice. I think you get the point. It feels like half your shots dont even register like they should. Combine that with broken and unbalanced gunplay and you have the problem. Some guns are peashooters while other guns kill you in 2 or 3 shots. I mean hell the G57 is better than half the guns in the game. You can usually kill someone in 1 burst at pretty decent range. I personally think the ttk in this game is to fast. I think the ttk needs increased with quite a few weapons. All these things make for a poor experience. I find myself questioning almost every death that I get in this game because they make absolutely no sense what so ever. I've never had this issue with previous battlefields like I have with this game.
