Because I consider you the enemy of modern gaming but I do am curious to find out what drives people to spend money on digital stuff you only get to see when your char is dead on the ground? And anyone who also spend money looks exactly like you anyway, it feels meaningless.In my honest opinion anything in games should be earned and not bought, it's called a "game" for a reason.You might say "what does it matter it doesn't hurt anyone" I think it does because games are designed to take advantage of this fact and it's no longer about making a good game.

Battlefield has become great upon "good" content and DLC with lots of new and varied content. In order to sell DLC it has to be good content. In order to sell cosmetics you do not need good content...... that's the whole point. Praying on the addiction of people wanting the newest shiny.Also I didn't wanna go there at first but there are weapon skins that change the vision of a scope, giving more awereness so more power and also the Battlepass can be skipped by paying money buying you temporary power....And any form of earning any of these without spending money has been made basically impossible so pushes more and more into spending just make the need for good content less and less. In all the time playing 2042 I have been able to get 1 weapon skin without spending money.... messed up

Expensive cars that take you from point A to point B in the exact same as a normal car.I like how skins look, happy? The Cosmetics is the way that they make the money from the game, If it wasn't this way it would be another more horrible way to get the money from the players
Be glad its only cosmetics which you can at least choose not to purchase and it does not ruin the game imagine if they started putting new weapons behind paywalls now thats the way we dont want to go.
Just be happy that they do it this way.

What "live service" lol if having gamemodes people enjoy removed week after week is considered a "live service".. but I guess I wouldn't understand because it's prolly a fashion thing
I don't think you need to be shrek to appreciate not being cought up into the latest fashion things
Still just a very strong believer that if Battlefield would go back to it's roots, the roots that allowed this thing to exist in the first place it would come out much stronger. Solid base, good new content with DLC and that still leaves plenty of room for cosmetics that can be sold.

We do not only get to see our character dead on the ground.
This game is designed to make us look at them every opportunity when they are not in first person.
I do not like the faces of the specialists, so I do my best to cover them up, preferably with free skins
But if they release a great skin that covers up some dumdum specialist face and actually makes them look cool, I may get it with my currency.
Sure, the premium model is a far superior monetization model. But I have little hope it will come back.

I buy fancy skins so I can admire myself in the 30 second long fancy takedown animation that I bought, except in the 99/100 times that I get killed before finishing the takedown, in which case I see my fancy skin while I'm dead. Alternatively, I see it while I'm waiting in a queue for a game with no crossplay on.
Oh wait, I don't buy any of them.
