Dear all members of EA, Dice and community managers, something many of us in the community have wanted to know (especially those of us that do clans, milsim, communities or other groups/factions) is when we will finally get news of when we will have actual clan or platoon system like every battlefield and game have these days. One of the biggest reasons that battlefield 4 is still running is the milsim, clans and community servers that people recruit and retain large groups of players that keep it going and offer new ways to play. Battlefield 2042 not only lacks actual servers (which can make you money) and a clan system or known as platoons thanks to battlelog.com. Platoons or clans are something that keeps servers filled, grows the player base, gives people new people to meet and play with, new experiences and so much more. This is one of the many core features that we have not heard a thing about and hopefully we do soon. Aside the fact we didnt hear anything on Server Browser, rented servers and platoons those features are still must haves for a battlefield game. This is not even debatable actually. Those are key features. Not legacy bullsht.If they really consider reintroducing BF2042 and try to rescue it they should definetely consider implementing those features. Season 1 will decide the fate of the game and if they wont be able to convince the players who left the game to come back its definetely over.

What is so odd is that they took so many options away from the players. You can't choose what server or map you play on in AOW due to the lack of a server browser. You can't choose your team or your squad. The list goes on and on. It really doesn't make any sense.

@Airstriker97 It's sad to see the current state of this game, and virtually hopeless for the future of Battlefield 2042 and the franchise.

Rented Servers
Clan/platoon system
team swap ability
ability to pick and choose your squad and not forced into one
remove auto force deploy in start of a round
additional weapons being added

@Airstriker97 I'd imagine that some of your list may be possible, like moving vehicles to different slots (we've seen that already), but there's been no news about things like platoons, rented servers or a browser for AoW. That's not to say that we won't get those things, I just wouldn't count on them being added.

I would say they will see how the game is after the first content drop, I mean why waste time and money on a dead game.

1000% this and the sooner they realise it and act accordingly the sooner BF2042 can get on the road to recovery..

@Airstriker97 I fully support your message, ATF Clan had multiple servers for every BF game, we still have a 1942 server going for crying out loud. Losing rentable servers was a nail in the coffin, the lack of a server browser is the dirt being piled in for the BF division we have. The majority have moved to games they can play together, like COD. COD! No server browser is a deal breaker. Some might come back. Might.
