Agreed....hopefully with all teams "on deck" for BF2042 there are a number of different development avenues being pursued.
Have to say the priority right now should still be more content.
Alongside that I would like to think there is a technical (rather than design) team who is working on tweaking the mouse input.
I'd also like to hope there is another team working on UI improvements such as squad management and improvements to in-game communication forms other than VOIP.
For example....a radial menu for the "ping" option to allow identification of infantry, tanks, move markers etc. would be nice.
