- @Furbatr0n For real. You can't set ping limits or anything. Nevermind the issues with the game the thing that is driving me nuts is the high pingers that are mixed into the games ruining the experience, abusing netcode, and lack of quality server performance due to it.
It is absolutely absurd to be forced to play with players that degrade the quality of the game.

Do you think people made servers before and they instantly got populated? Why do people expect it of Portal mode? You want infantry only? Then that option is available for you or someone to setup, especially once the progression part of it is fixed.
Are people really that looking forward to spaming Sundance's scatter grenades x128 on a Metro style closed space?
Portal is useless if the progression is disabled. Reason why people asking for official infantry only 2042 modes. Or enable full progression in Portal as you marketed and sell the game.
Portal definitely seems like their main focus.
Great thing is, if you want 128 Sundances spamming Scatters on Metro, you can do it - if you don't, you know not to join that lobby. You can have infantry only HC for 'the real manly vets of Battlefield', Snipers+headshots only maps for the 360 no-scope blaze420xx CoD kids, and real 1:1 authentic milsim germans vs americans for those crazy people who let WWII literally consume their very soul- @borroma31 Not at all, but until or unless Dice decide to add an infantry mode or map, there isn't any other option. Portal is also there for us to create our own experiences, we might as well use it in the interim for things like this.
