@DICE have you ever played Breakthru after the last Patch?

Changing the Map Layout yesterday in Breakthru is frustrating, know  the balance is way off now again.

Attackers have a huge advantage especially when they have some good pilots.

the defenders are pretty much defenceless against a good piloting in a stealth helicopter.

Air balance with the new helicopter is still none existence and if the attacker has 2 Air vehicle for example a Condor and a Steals Helicopter in combination the rounds are doomed for the defenders.

Such Stats like in the snippet should not be normal, the first pilot was in a stealth helicopter the second one was a gunner in a condor.

I don’t know how many players have switched to anti air to get him down maybe three times in this round. The condor was a little bit easier but this planet killer gun called “50MM Cannon Pod” is still ridiculous.

I would say here you should quickly return to the drawing board to adjust the balance because this is killing the fun.

if you already steal Sundance a smart nade, which would be important to trigger the flairs you should actually weaken the helicopter. 3 rockets and a hit from a smart nade for a conder with so much firepower is too much. Weakens the weapons on the Condor then everything would be fine. (He is a transporter and not a flying fortress)

Now to the Stealth Helicopter, who came up with the idea to give the thing flairs that he can ignite and then instantly switch to stealth mode? What if they could only switch to stealth mode if the flairs are not on cooldown?

Also with the nerf to AA it is impossible against this thing, In the time you try to lock on with the AA most of the time the helicopter is gone our get you killed.

My last point is who came up with the idea to change the layout yesterday? Has even one developer played this layout and had fun as defender?

The layouts from last week where much more balanced (Exposure seems to be an exception but I don’t had luck to play it, after in around 20 rounds since yesterday…)

If the layout not changing again, I think Breakthru is dead for me….

Also, you patched things which nobody asked for, maybe you should be closer to your base here in the forum instead of social media.

But hey I already now that nobody from EA\DICE will answer but it helps a bit to alleviate the disappointment when you write about it here...

I think I skip BF2024 this week, I have lost the motivation and the fun….

    @Zhukov211 battlefield players are so bad at their own game they cry to get everything nerfed

    The stealth heli wouldn't dominate the way it does if the nightbird hadn't had it's climb speed nerfed and miniguns spray everywhere and if there were more than one attack aircraft per side. Jets can take it out in a few passes with 20mm guns. But everyone has whined about aircraft so much that there's only one active. So when the good stealth heli with a gunner kills the other team's aircraft they get 2 minutes or so to just farm infantry almost uncontested.

    Also tip for infantry players - Rao is the strongest anti air gadget that has ever been in a battlefield game and basically lets you shut down aircraft gameplay without any negative effects or risk. Infantry has the most tools against aircraft ever. A stealth heli that gets hacked out of stealth mode without nearby cover can easily get locked by two stingers and instantly die without being able to do a thing about it. And most maps other than exposure have very little aerial cover.

    Aircraft and tanks have been nerfed and reduced in spawn numbers so they spend most of the game not fighting other vehicles, they spend most of the time fighting infantry, so infantry have a hard time. Plus most players have no idea what they are doing or how to deal with armor/aircraft and would rather complain than adapt and learn how to do anything but play call of duty style.

    @SpudBug so all threads that have the problems with these stealthelcopters in breakthru are just gratuitous crying about a perfectly balanced game ? mate you are not really blaming the "infantry" players for it?

    I'm always very patient about the game and I always try to adjust my playstile depending of the situation first.

    But since layout change last Thursday Breakthru is absolutely dominated by the stealthhilcopters in combination with the condor.

    And the defenders have no real chance to defend themselves against it, not even with RAO. I tried it

    also, I don't just go to the forum and ask for a nerf of a weapon, a vehicle or gadget. The only gadget which can be removed in my opinion is the prox ball because there are still eough and better options to spott in the game

    and I think most of the changes made by DICE to some specialists are just ridiculous, as some specists now just don't make sense anymore like Boris or Dozer and with the last patch they have get their eye on Sundance and Casper.

    What i I ask for is a balance, so give the defenders an AA vehicle and remove the flairs from the Stealth helicopters (one defence mechanism should be enough for every vehicle in the game)

    Also, some weapons are too effective against infantry like the 50mm pod from the condor. If you spam this thing around a flag that gets attacked, you will mass killing infantry with no effort or the fear to get shot down.

    Give this thing a little more health and get down with the fire power, this thing is still a transporter not a flying fortress.

    Remove the option to repair a vehicle while you sitting in it (like they did in BF2 when helicopters where nearly invincible when 2 people where repairing this thing in the air)

    and they should change the layout back it was more balanced before thursday

    @CountSero It is a little too strong but it's dominance is mostly a result of reduced air vehicle spawns in all game modes. When there's only one air vehicle in the air it will spend time dominating infantry. If more air vehicles spawned more often and more wildcats could spawn more often, air vehicles would better balance their time between infantry and other air vehicle battles.
