- @Patetzz The game is good, i'm enjoying it more than the previous ones. and this coming from a person that played BF4 as a religion. yeah there are some issues but nothing is perfect.
To be fair, none of those games you listed play like each other. I'm enjoying the game when it works even with the differences so I'm hoping they can fix the technical and balance issues relatively quickly and not take 6 months to get the game into a playable state.
- @Noodlesocks the thing is they were all BF this game isnt even close to being one. it feels like an old mans COD but kinda worse
I think the big problem is once again the marketing.
2042 whas marketet as a spritual successor to BF3/BF4 with classic "Battlefield Moments" in the trailers and promos.
Giving us the expectation that it would be the classic Battlefield gameplay on a larger scale.
Instead imagine if it where marketed as a spin-off game like Hardline or Bad Company the expectation would be totaly different and player would accept the gameplay for what it's designed for.
And the feeling is that is what it whas originaly designed to be ,"Battlefield: Hazard Zone", but maybe on the way it did not pan out as they planed, paniced and jammed conquest and breakthrough into it.

Both Battlefield and Call of Duty has changed drastically over the past two decades. It's one thing to dislike those changes; if you don't have fun with the game because of them then fine but to denigrate the game through comparisons with other (and more successful) games is a vapid, irrelevant critique.
- @Blackidus yeah the marketing is misleading. I liked the beta map a lot, but watching people play the game, it looks like it might be the only one thats any good as a whole. I'm also not seeing the same level of explosions and such in the marketing material.
IDK. To me this is the closest we've had to the classic games of old, but like others have said, I don't want to wait 6 months hoping they fix all the various issues...just in time to start developing the next game lol. - @Noodlesocks They started chasing COD with Bad Co 2 and BF3. This is now them chasing Warzone. I never liked BF3 that much because I was stuck on PS3 with low count matches. I never played the 64 player version. I just hope the servers hold up when the masses descend on the game at midnight lol
- @Patetzz Possible reason why Portal is Part of the game i guess 🤷♂️
You don't like it, go to Portal and create your own bf. - JKGL0114 years agoNew Veteran@Patetzz Battlefield 2042 give me a good feeling when I playing but something missing I don’t know what it is
