This is it, I'm out. I tried to hold on but this is not Battlefield and I'm sick of pretending it is.To whoever enjoys it, enjoy. Enjoy playing this game that used to stand out from the rest but now follows the trend of Apex/Warzone/Fortnite with its specialists and whacky skins catering to kids who like to floss everyday of the week. It's officially over, we've lost Battlefield.

I had to google that because I was so convinced it couldn't be real. These peoples heads are so far from where they should be. They clearly have no idea what their player base wants from a battlefield game. They had a sizeable chunk of the gaming market sewn up. They had a very profitable segment that they exceled at in the past, no one came close. All they had to do was build on it. But they had to go off and chase a rainbow to be the next Fortnite. They won't be. They're pretty much trashing a nearly 20 year gaming institution that people loved. It's actually really sad. This is probably just the ultimate culmination of the decision to sell out to EA back in the day.I uninstalled the other day. I'd had enough of firing it up for a couple of rounds every now and then thinking maybe if I just try something different, it'll click but just end up having a miserable time. I thought maybe the patch might be a ray of light but it doesn't look like it. It'll be months (if at all, which I really doubt) before it's something worthwhile. They've got a Mount Everest to climb. I thought maybe they'd at least get to base camp with the patch. But it looks like they're still in a tourist shop in Kathmandu trying to decide whether flip-flops or crocs are the best footwear for the expedition.

@AJ_Clickz This skin looks horrendous. Does DICE really think the average Battlefield player is a kid? They are playing Fortnite and CoD. Battlefield always had a more mature playerbase. Dating all the way back to Battlefield 1942.

Stuck around for Portal but I am done with Battlefield. I have far too much respect for myself to play this cringey, childish game that is clearly designed for 10 year olds. I'm not even going to talk about other game design issues like lack of classes, teamwork, vehicle movement, no destruction, map design, legacy features etc..The skins they released today is the icing on the cake for the cartoonish specialists, cringey call outs and their end of round quips.This is my last post in the forums and I won't be playing this game or any future BF games as the direction is clear. I'd like to say goodbye to all the wonderful people on here who I interacted with over the past few monthsEA and DICE, you destroyed my favorite franchise you absolute clowns.

How could we ever play without funny skins? This is so good haha. Every previous battlefield was trash because of not having skins like that.
Now everything in the games feels better. 2042 goty for this never seen before funny and exclusive idea

+1 this is not Battlefield that DICE got us used to it. This is some kind of * shooter with tons of incoming microtransactions - You will see it in a month in "Battle Bass" or "Seasons" (whatever).

@RUMPLE9 At least if we did, we could re-create BFF video of bunny-snipers (not a serious reply of course, just trying to bring some levity).
