I demand a killswitch for seeing any silly outfits in the settings

I had to google that because I was so convinced it couldn't be real.
These peoples heads are so far from where they should be. They clearly have no idea what their player base wants from a battlefield game. They had a sizeable chunk of the gaming market sewn up. They had a very profitable segment that they exceled at in the past, no one came close. All they had to do was build on it. But they had to go off and chase a rainbow to be the next Fortnite. They won't be. They're pretty much trashing a nearly 20 year gaming institution that people loved. It's actually really sad. This is probably just the ultimate culmination of the decision to sell out to EA back in the day.
I uninstalled the other day. I'd had enough of firing it up for a couple of rounds every now and then thinking maybe if I just try something different, it'll click but just end up having a miserable time. I thought maybe the patch might be a ray of light but it doesn't look like it. It'll be months (if at all, which I really doubt) before it's something worthwhile.
They've got a Mount Everest to climb. I thought maybe they'd at least get to base camp with the patch. But it looks like they're still in a tourist shop in Kathmandu trying to decide whether flip-flops or crocs are the best footwear for the expedition.
