Yes but Dice has actively acknowledged and attempted to fix PC issues.
We have reported aim assit issue since beta. Dice said it was deactivated for beta but full release would have it.
Full release it's still not working. Have repeatedly reported it. Only thing Dice did was address a consistancy issue on last gen aim assit. Still have not done anything for current gen issue.
Remember Dice disabled Series X crossplay toggle at release. As crossplay toggle worked in beta. They forced series x/s players to play against PC players while still not activating aim assit. Then it took almost two months to get then to add the toggle only to have series x/s servers never start and took another month to address. By that time the series x/s player base had already tanked.
I also dont think it's a latency issue causing to frame rate drop. The connection warning icons never show up on the top left of the screen. My connection is normally around 40 to 50ms.
Also when the frame rates tank like that its area specific on the map. If I go to a diffrent area it runs fine. But if i return to the area that had the frame rate issue it happens again.
On hour glass if I just look in the area it will stutter such as I run into frame rate issue at bravo 1 but I get on a roof on echo 3 if i look at bravo 1 from echo 3 it will stutter.
Here is the thing let's say next match same map again everything will be fine the whole match. Its totally random and I haven't found what triggers it.
The 3.1 update literally addresses many of the things you claim were not addressed. I agree that aim assist overall is nearly non-existent on the game. The aim assist is very weak in Battlefield 2042 no matter what platform you play on. That's an issue with the game itself. PC players don't need aim assist because the mouse is a crutch as it is.

And it seems they made it so that you'd be forced to stay in crossplay in order to get a game. The player base may have shrunken so much that they are afraid of losing the small amount of PC players they are making money off of if PS5 and XBOX SeriesX/S owners are given the option to turn off crossplay with PC and only game with other console owners.
I may be dead wrong and that's just my opinion; but it seems like a sneaky move to keep you in crossplay with PC players. I can remember turning off crossplay earlier when the game released and actually finding matches faster than I did with crossplay on.

The crossplay toggle never worked on the series x/s until 2 months later with a patch. It was intentionally disabled by Dice for release as the toggle worked for beta. Even after the patch series x/s non crossplay wouldnt start that took another month for a patch.
It also didn't help that crossplay was defualt on. By the time the crossplay toggle and server issues were addressed the population plummeted. In large part do to forced crossplay with PC players.
As far as Aim assit it was never fixed on series x/s. The one patch to fix aim assit consistancy appeared to only effect old gen consoles.
Hell aim assit doesnt even work in solo mode on series x.
We have reported this since beta and Dice does nothing.
