i still feel like especially EA mislead a lot concerning the state of this game.
Claiming its ahead of scheduele, the fastes feature complete game by DICE ( i mean if you rip out d dozen features that are basic in any other FPS then sure) and then acting like the victim because consumers are justifiably pissed? come on that is like a kindergartner beign mad that no one lauged at his jokes...
DICE has promised all the way back in chapter 4 of BFV to communicate more and especially more directly with the fans and here we are having not gotten a single offical piece of information again.
there is a quote from Paul Watzlawik ( a Psychologist) "one cannot not communicate" so there is that....
also all DICE would need to do is show us their early design concepts and ideas from teh game to discredit these statements... so either way one person is most likely lying to us anyways
To keep using this is just more 'misinformation'.
- X-Sunslayer-X4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Trokey66 so would you then inform the employer of such delays? i imagine you would... especially if it is then to be sold to a consumer later on.
imagine if a company developing software for ventilators just released a comparable mess..... - Trokey664 years agoSeasoned Ace@X-Sunslayer-X The people that needed to know will have been informed and the team would have worked hard to catch up.
At that point there would be absolutely no reason to inform the customer, indeed we were informed of a month's delay later in the year.
People won't die if the game stops working so bit hyperbole there don't you think? - X-Sunslayer-X4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Trokey66 so EA/DICE-Management clearly must have known the state of the product and still shipped it. how is that in any world acceptable?
it is a figure of speech it still and 100+€ is a lot of money still....
but regardless the house is on fire and its up to EA/DICE to either let it burn to the ground or to put it out - Micawber7294 years agoSeasoned Veteran@X-Sunslayer-X idk as it seems to me that at a certain point a game has to be released in order to get it right.
With the advent of new gfx getting ever more out of control with and imo eye candy that’s not needed for again imo FPS multiplayer online games is just silly.
More specifically Ray Tracing but others as well. - X-Sunslayer-X4 years agoSeasoned Ace@k1u73 or you know DICE could just keep cycling it into a beta for broad testing, or a CTE you knwo instead of skimming away on what some describe as misleading marketing at the very least...
there were better alternatives but EA/DICE-Management gambled and got burned hard now - Micawber7294 years agoSeasoned Veteran
@X-Sunslayer-XSometimes. I just wish all that burn was directed at gfx manufacturers.
Talk about marketing! Ray Tracing has to be the most made up scam convincing everyone the awesomeness that you/we as consumers MUST have!!!
All at a low price 1200.00 after they sell out to scalpers lol
How much time did they spend on coding on this game for that crap which every one turns off?
Which imo could have been spent, time wise on releasing a more refined product that could be played by every one at 100+ fps.
Not to mention cross platform which I have no issue with but already the console’ers are crying foul, the PC’ers are crying foul etc.
I have fun playing this game, it’s playable on my old rig while needing some fixes along with serious optimizing so the player base can grow.EDIT:
When will the madness stop?
