Sadly it is largely due to the low player count and is more of a problem in certain regions.

Just been playing as Boris for the first time in a while and I doubt I'll bother again.

The sentry gun is now next to useless. Damage is poor, reaction is poor, range is poor and it can be destroyed by most weapons with a few shots.  What happened to this great support weapon?

I literally watched an enemy run past my sentry and it did nothing.

Come on, this has been nerfed to the point of being a joke and as for reaching T1, how can anyone achieve that with it being so under powered? I won't be using Boris again until this is fixed. Why would anyone?
