Hey @Neemem2649,
No, you only get XP from Ribbons if you finish the match and during your End of Round screen. - no_One313 years agoNew Veteran

- kregora3 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Leeuw 11 You receive the ribbon xp the moment you unlocked a level. 1000xp + 500xp + 500xp. No further awards after unlocking gold level.
Yes you do.
As soon as you unlocked a ribbon in a match it shows up on your sceen and you see the related XP at the bottom too.
And usually XP and such thing as any game action you do during a match save immediately.
So if you get a kill more for your T1 progression and leave the server after, this kill will also be saved for your progression.
The only thing that maybe makes you think it didn't save the XP after a match is if the stats didn't update yet.
Cause it can need a match to play till the end sometimes, to sync and update the stats. But that's all.

That must have been it, the reason why I got confused. Thanks, Travis! 🙌
So yes, yes you do get it during the match.
However, it's of course never recommended to leave a match halfway through, as this can have a negative impact on other things. We always recommend finishing a match, till the End of Round screen. That way, you're making sure that everything gets updated and tracked the right way.
