EA DICE, you put your greed on full display

Congratulations guys, you killed your already poor reputation with the community by releasing these stupid Fortnite skins. You proved that Specialists were always just a front to sell skins. You knew they were a terrible decision, but you needed to milk the players for every penny they had. You gave up the last shred of integrity you had to suck more money out of the players who already gave up $60-$110 for a boring, unfinished, and falsely advertised product. You screwed over your fans to try and satisfy your insatiable greed. You just take more and more, and give us less and less. We’ve lost all faith in you. You put your greed on full display here, and the community is sick of it.

We all know that BF2042 has issues with performance, bugs and QoL things but DICE is on the way to patch things in and bugs out (last patch beside the mouse bug is a good step!) and I enjoy my conquest games

And as many here stated the Specialist have a purpose with their passive and active ability, so there are more than only a skin😉

But I think you have to see the other side of the medal, some of you have only paid only for the main game and maybe for the map packs and played what? hundreds or thousands of hours? So, you have paid less than a dollar for an hour playtime.

Do you go to the cinema? and an hour is worth what? 7€-8€? (And not every movie is worse it to see it on the silver screen)

And subscripting service like Netflix are only working because you pumping constantly money in….

DICE has supported their games over several years without most of player have put another cent into it.

Do you think that fixing bugs, maintain and hosting servers is paid from nothing?

Can you still play BF3, BF4, BF1? yes? so they don’t shut down the master server to search for games? they don’t shut down the server for matchmaking? They are still hosting servers?

And the argue “yeah buddy but EA is a greedy multi-Billion Company” is a little bit off, EA is not only DICE or Battlefield 😉.  Even with the fact that EA is a multi-Billion company DICE has  a fixed budged for every game which includes also the maintenance after the game is released

But some of you always demanding fixes, balancing and more content or new innovations when the game already released for two or more years….

How many of you have bought cases in BF4? How many of you bought skins inf BF1 or BF V?

The specialists maybe are also designed with monetizing skins in mind but as many said here if EA/DICE want monetize skins they had done it already more easily. (Looks at BF V 😉)

I think with the specialist they created the possibility to have impact on the battlefield, each player can create now their own classes a can be more even to each other on the Battlefield.

You can see that is works because some of the players which used to their class or where dominating are complaining that there are “too many threads out there”

Seems to me that some fans\veterans and new players are quicker to adapt the new gameplay

And yeah, I also see games as a service sceptical but it can work and then I’m fine with it to support the game more and put some money in

So, let’s wait and see what the future will bring^^ which maps and weapons DICE will bring us

Gl & HF on the Battlefield

(PS: This is just my opinion and I’m sorry if the wording is of I’m not a native English speaker)

@Stew360And yet we don't have proper factions. Example, in V, you had customization. This was hard work. It doesn't matter class or spets, they still can sell outfits.

Edit: Even rn when I play bird. Everyone can AA now, I wonder why No1 helps when needed, because "I'm on my own, if someone touches me, I take actions"

  • @CountSeroThat’s fine, I’m glad that you enjoy  game. But your argument doesn’t excuse the fact that this game is in an unacceptable state for the price. Video games and movies are not the same thing. Charging upwards of $60 for a game that is blatantly unfinished is not something we should be ok with. For $60+, we should expect a complete product from a multi-billion dollar company if they are charging that. We shouldn’t have to pay full price for a broken mess and then wait a year for the game to actually become playable and have all of the content we paid for. We shouldn’t have content cut from the game just for it to be slowly drip-fed back to us for even more money. Many players, including myself, don’t buy skins and cosmetics in FPS games. And the community doesn’t appreciate that EA is stripping Battlefield of its identity to try and chase the trends of current popular hero shooters like Overwatch and Apex Legends with silly skins and goofy characters acting like the war they’re fighting in is a fun game. In the trailers before launch, we were shown epic destruction, intense & gritty combat, realistic soldiers, and immersive environments. And we got none of that. It’s flat-out false advertising. And that’s not ok, whether you like the game or not.

@XD-DAWG11 yeah, I'm with you that the performance issues and bugs in a final release where unlucky but DICE is already fixing things with their patches. I’m enjoying playing it.

But related to the cut content I'm not with you BF2042. You got AoW also there is Hazard Zone and imho one of the Powerful tools in BF gaming with the Portal mode. If you looked at the tool or videos what you can do with, it’s is so amazing. And if you look what they put in from BF1942, BFBC2 and BF3 this is huge.

Also, I’m part of this community so please speak for your self

Nah, we never had before some staged “marketing” trailers, such things don’t exist in gaming industries…

    See you on the Battlefield
