Sadly there aren't enough weapons to make up classes
@CantGetRightbut what about the possibility of weapon choices for millions of players instead of.pointing out 1. Im not sure how many I used in BF4, but pretty sure it was more then 22. I usually try each one out to see which ones I like

I can tell you I used every single primary and secondary weapon in BF3. I had at least 500 kills with every single one of them.
I did this as well. But I can say that many of the weapons were unnecessary. I mean you must remember that most ppl used m16a3. Just like in bf1 with the hellriegel 1915. I mean I love variety of weapons let's be real though no matter how many guns they add you know most ppl still going to use the M5A3 with close combat ammo. Just because it's so overly used I avoid it plus it's not great at range. The AK24 is great at range and decent in cqc
I mean in bf4 I tried every weapon but got mastery with 23 weapons. I'm fine with the games launch weapons I feel like there's at least 1 weapon for every playstyle. Including the mp28 being like a pistol carbine

By this logic you also can just remove all weapons except one per type and call it a day.
Weapon variety is important, its balances weapons in situations and give them purpose.
What’s the point in using the lcmg when you can also use the pkp who does everything better ?
2 lmgs is laughable in a game about weapons and vehicles.
