At this point DICE even failed to communicate at what date will their holidays be officially over.
If they had stated the maximum length of their holidays along with the expected patch changes and expected patch date, people would had been a lot more lenient on them.
Two way communication is not important. Opposite. It really is barking up the the wrong tree. IT's a mirage.
There is no 2 way communication when you have ~1 person on one side and millions on the other side all with different questions and desires. It's not possible.
Also if you've been around the block enough times to not join the hate crowd as you say then should you also realize they always support BF games for a year to year and half after launch. Their actions speak louder than their words. And their actions for supporting their game launch have an excellent record and is essentially 100%.
@babypants1
Battlefield V was abandoned in an incomplete state + has outstanding gameplay bugs and thus it broke the 100% record.
They have shown that they will drop game support early if they want.
Sure, it is not like we can have the devs have a long chat with every player, but they can at least be part of a constructive discussion.

No. It got a good year and a half of support. IT got plenty of maps after launch and guns and other content along with improvements and fixes.

@babypants1The bombs reload bug was introduced within 1 month within the game and is outstanding.
That K something rifle still has bugged scope and misaligned sights.the type 2A SMG was left at a state that it makes almost all the other SMGs obsolete.
BF3, BF4 and BF1 had longer support and more content. (for example BF1 got 29 maps vs BFV's 19)I hope that BFV proves the exception instead of the new rule in a new BF era of "live services" and "chasing trends"

BF3, BF4 and BF1 had longer support and more content.lol. The point was all BF games get a good 18 months of support. Anyone that knows enough to know the hate brigade always pops in full force after a new BF game launches should also know the same thing applies to ~18 months of post-launch support.
And, completely contrary to your retort, BFV got plenty of maps and weapons and content and improvements for ~18 months post launch.

@babypants1As I mentioned in my previous post, the previous games got more than that.
"Plenty" is subjective and relative.
I am on 223 hours on BF2042 and still going strong. I just do not want to see another early drop because of not enough MTX revenue.
Every BF game deserves a BF4 level of post launch support.
