@TTZ_DipsyI do not agree. I have always and continue to buy products based on past performance. Its call brand loyalty and I do it with almost everything, including software and hardware. Now obviously as time goes on, companys lose the culture and direction often changes. But then so will the consumer choose to buy elsewhere.
Keep in mind that I am not whining about the developers or some of the tweaking that is being worked on, thats normal stuff. It was a bad decision at the management level to release the game prematurally and without basic coding , such as native joystick support, as they have had for every previous version. - filthy_vegans4 years agoSeasoned Ace

@trip1exYou sure do assume a lot, rather than ask questions to understand.
My memory serves me just fine. I have been playing this franchise for the past 20 years, and I recall all the patches and updates to improve the game. What I do not recall is any of them missing major key components at launch, and after having paid full price for a release, not a beta. My opinions are based on my own observations and experiences, not whats on reddit, youtube, or any other medium.
It appears based on your snarky tone that you are just trolling and not adding any real value to the discussion. And if you expect that a company release a final version at full price, but fails to deliver the advertised expectation, the real problem is you. Let me sell you a flashy new year model car that I show you a picture of and when you get it, there are no wheels or seats. Just be patient and dont complain, you didnt HAVE to buy it, right? You must have amnesia because they always release buggy games. Everyone always complains. They always patch their games and add content. And there is no major component missing in 2042.
I don't know what the explanation could be otherwise.

Uhm some major components for me: squad management,Voip, team difference look, too few guns, roadmap ,persistent server, server browser, all-chat, ?
This aint bugs, just rushed.... Usually they have a plan for where they are going..

Exactly. People have amnesia.

Joystick still dont work. I would say thats a major component missing when playing on PC.BF1 joystick was fixed with the first patch within the first week.
BFV joystick worked fine on release .

The key words being "for me."
With that definition a person can make anything 'missing' in a videogame a "missing major component."
I dont' think that's the definition of a major component. That's just you wanting a feature in the game.
The major components of a BF game are soldiers, guns, gadgets, planes, helis, tanks, jeeps, apcs, boats, maps, flags, and matchmaking. That's all there.
Without those you don't have BF. You have BF still without the stuff you mentioned.
And yes the game is rushed and unfinished. Beta showed the game was unfinished. But that's been true of pretty much every past BF game. That's where people's amnesia comes into play.

I know you like joystick, and I myself was using joystick up to BF4. But these days, the number of players who use a joystick I can count on my fingers sort to speak. It's not a major component.
