I think Lis is balanced but the other engineers should be buffed.
The problem is rockets are weak. Rockets have many counters and do little damage. Engineers need more ammo or more damage.
I think fewer rockets with more damage is the better option. Having stronger rockets will feel more impactful to players and be more fun IMO. Two rockets per engineer with kill potential would be perfect. Each rocket should do around 50% to 60% health to heavy tanks in one hit. If the time to kill is unfair then I could see three rockets with like 49% damage on each, that way the third is almost a guaranteed kill.
My problem with more rockets is the reload time is very long and kinda boring, to be honest. I would rather spend more time shooting than reloading. I also feel very small when using rockets in this game, just something about the small damage they do feels dull and uninteresting.
and yeah the Boris turret is garbage... not even sure what purpose it serves anymore, might as well be a spot camera with no gun.

I don't mind the reload times for the other engineers, Lis' reload time just takes way too long though.
Stronger rockets or more rockets either way would work, me personally I don't mind playing a little peek-a-boo with a tank and having to land quite a few shots on them, I would opt for more rockets myself.
I agree though that Boris' Turret and Crawford's minigun aren't really viable anti-vehicle traits.

I think you mean the cooldown. I respectfully disagree. Having unlimited missiles comes with a price. Lis is not meant to solo vehicles. She is meant to identify vehicles damaged so otherss focus. The problem is the team is not heeding her heads up. Her SOFLAM ability is really what DICE designed. Once damaged, vehicles light up to her. And remember, the cooldown is from the first missile fired, not the second.

Neither are viable or effective because they are easily destroyed. If I was to change Boris, I would turn the minigun, into a SOFLAM. It targets and highlights vehicles (like Lis sees when damaged). The gun itself would no longer fire bullets, but light up vehicles for missiles for other players other then Boris. Range of 200 M no LOS. The only drawback is that his missiles couldnt take advantage of the SOLFAM.

I've played mostly as an engineer since BC2. I miss having Irish as an engi. I could pop the sentinels out and go up against hind grenadiers or MAVs all day long. As a console player, I have had little use for Lis. Boris I can tolerate, T1d him before the turret "patch". Crawford has limited use with his gatling, and I'm not totally convinced his Critical Repair trait really speeds up repairs. And I still feel an engineers go to primary should be a sub machine gun or carbine, not an lmg. Still working to adapt my game play style, but I just wish I didn't have to.

IF they could make Boris' turret focus on just vehicles like that it might be ok, I guess, me personally I would just prefer the AA mines.
I just don't think Crawford's minigun is viable as an anti-vehicle trait though as it just leaves you too exposed.

Funny how Crawford is dead meat, but the smooth plastic shield is impervious.
