I would give Lis missiles their previous agility back. Keep the range where it is.
The other engineers are just not worth playing. I would move Irish to Engineer. At least you would have more then just Lis on the map
There's no shortage of Boris players in Australia.
On Flashpoint 64 24/7 server there's hardly any Lis or Crawford players. Most engineers have switched over to Boris and are using M5 or Javelin.
I run the Javelin. It's noob friendly and does 44 damage per shot without soflam on tanks.
Sounds like just another infantry anti vehicle winge thread to me.

I am far from being "anti-vehicle whiner" as a matter of fact I have advocated several times for buffing tanks, especially early on in this games life cycle when they were basically paper tigers as well as adding APS on all tanks (as they have now done) I'm just pointing out how un-fun and unrewarding playing engineer is at this point.
I wasn't on board with locking gadgets down to certain characters (classes "allegedly") but whatever, it's done now, however Boris and Crawford got shoe-horned into the engineer role even though their specialist's "ability" has little to do with anti-vehicle" warfare, and they didn't adjust their rocket amounts either to account for the new reality that is accompanied from the gadgets being locked.
I used to use Angel primarily to hunt vehicles before they locked down gadgets, so I could resupply myself with rockets as it rarely took just three rockets to destroy most vehicles air or land based and required multiple resupplies to get the job done.
But now they have locked Angel into the "support" role as well as the ammo crates and opted to not allow engineers to carry ammo, so as an engineer, once you've expended your rockets you get to spend the rest of the time chasing blueberries around screaming for ammo (who completely ignore such requests) or constantly suiciding and re-deploying just so you can get more rockets.
Sure sounds like fun and rewarding gameplay, doesn't it?

I run engineer exclusively, always have on all the BF titles and they have always been the weakest and hardest to master. That said, I agree with the OP on all points. I only play lis and never the other specialists.
I spend a LOT of time repairing vehicles to help my team and now I hear that repairing is going to be nerfed! I can see nerfing on air vehicles and I never repair those because they can always fly out of a hot zone and auto regen, but for ground vehicles, my K/D suffers because I focus on repairing vehicles that are capping and pushing the objective as part of team work.
Second, I miss throwing down ammo as an engineer, that was my other big focus on team work and that has been taken away, so the two items which directly impact Team Work, have been nerfed and removed and I'm more than happy to suffer negative K/D if I had the tools to help my team, but sadly it appears Dice has no love for engineers.
I can play the other classes, but I bought the game to play the class I've always played for years and while the class has always been difficult to use and you never will have a K/D like Assault, I still enjoy playing it, but please it's time to give it some love.

My thoughts on running engineer (Lis) as main class.
Rockets should be limited to 2, however the damage is atrocious and needs a slight buff. That said, the damage is decent on weaker vehicles, but terrible on tanks or any stronger vehicles (you can forget about bringing down a Hind). So, I'm not sure how this could be fixed, you buff damage and then it is OP for weaker vehicles...you don't buff and its fairly useless against stronger vehicles.
What I do know on rockets is that I rarely get 2 shots off, usually I'm dead after 1 shot or the vehicle has moved off by the time I reload (reloading is a bit slow).
Vehicle mines are not very good. I am obsessive about laying these down and get very, very few vehicle kills or any damage. I'm not sure why they are so ineffective, maybe because vehicles can vault off buildings, hills and survive, so there is less need for them to actually traverse roads? Maybe award higher damage points to the vehicle on mines, or provide higher damage points when people drive them all over the map in ways that obviously are in the realm of fantasy.
Then there is the problem of ammo, or lack-of. I can't explain why players don't throw down ammo, I suspect because it has been moved to the other class and players who play engineer exclusively, like me don't want to move to that other class.
If anything, move the ammo back to engineers and for the love of god, don't nerf repair percentages, if you have to reduce repair do so by reducing auto-regen, those vehicles can fly off or drive away to shelter for repair.

I never thought about that. Interesting question. Cultural influence on choice of specialists. Good on ya mate!!!!! Might be a good thread to start on its own.
There's no shortage of Boris players in Australia.
The question of auto gun vs auto missile reload (after 20 seconds from first fire) is the question. I prefer the missiles. It is hard to be mobile with the gun.
On Flashpoint 64 24/7 server there's hardly any Lis or Crawford players. Most engineers have switched over to Boris and are using M5 or Javelin.
I see a hell of a lot of Lis. I also notice theyre typically the first to die. LOL That being said, I don't see Crawford either.
I run the Javelin. It's noob friendly and does 44 damage per shot without soflam on tanks.
I run Lis, not only for the rocket restock, but the SOFLAM ability she gives. I keep vehicles lit up for others to hi.
Sounds like just another infantry anti vehicle winge thread to me.Vehicles are an issue. I don't play solo unless I am in a portal no vehicle game. I only play in vehicle games when I have a team of 4 buddies and we craft our team.
I understand the logic behind what DICE did, but they left out one variable in their equation. Player Choice. Ive been on 64 player teams with 2 engineers. Its a vehicle wipe. Also consider that support class are sitting ducks with zero ability to defend themselves against vehicles and you have an issue. Currently, vehicles have zero fear of infantry. They should have some. They camp nodes. Literally, they drive to a node, camp, cap, move to next node, camp cap. They might die twice a game if that. There was one pilot who posted here (before the nerfs and changes), that he died 7 times one game like it was a huge inconvenience to his farming.. The thoughtlessness of the statement was incredible. The idea that they just shouldn't die 7 times!!! His opinion on vehicles smacks of entitlement.
Scoreboards are filled with players who die 20+ times, but 7 was an inordinate amount for him. It is that perceived entitlement that many pilots have, that create threads of this nature. What is worse is pilots were literally misrepresenting Lis' abilities to get her nerfed. Saying she could do things she couldn't. Then, when corrected, their complaint changed that if Lis teamworked, they had no chance. Again, the entitlement of that statement is just ridiculous. The expectation that DICE should not allow infantry to teamwork. HOW DARE WE! Then they epeen skill. The irony of that attitude is not lost on me.
"Im a skilled pilot but we need to Nerf someone who dies 20 times because I died 7".
If DICE doesn't rebalance things, the next pilot posts will be how long it takes games to spawn because infantry is going to be in pilotless portals.
