I can go play BFV and magically my accuracy goes up 8% compared to this game, it doesn't make any sense 

It's honestly pathetic that a AAA studio of 800 people can't get something as basic as mouse input in an FPS game

Yeah you can definitely notice a big difference in BF2042 compared to BFV, I wish they would address this long standing issue.

There are LOTS of things that BFV and other past titles had that should have been copied and pasted into this one. Lessons we've already learned, but someone has deemed it necessary to start from scratch and get everything wrong. I have this issue as well. The most infuriating one is the snap towards and enemy, ADS and then have the mouse STOP moving for adjustments. I know I'm moving the mouse for adjustments and NOTHING happens. Just sit there dumb until you die. Makes my teeth itch...

Mouse input, along with controller implantation on PC, is purely AWFUL. Play any previous BF title then 2042, there's clearly an issue. 
The PC controller settings all mirror your gameplay/mouse settings. There's no way to distinguish between the two setting pages. I've been screaming to the high heavens for over 8 months regarding this issue. Nothing.

@InS_Hypnohave you seen the job listings on EA? It is all hands on deck, except the all hands is about 10 hands (5x2). 2 devs working on bug fixes, 1 on UI and 2 on deployment/content. That's about it. Mouse input is #478 on the list of things to do and they are on #43.

I can't get a controller to work on my PC at all in this game. Been trying forever because I like to fly with a stick and joystick support was non-existent. OH and joystick isn't recognized by the game either....the whole this is a joke. A really bad one
