More communication is crucial, dropping an "official" weekly update seems like a no-brainer and would assuage a lot of the frustration players are feeling.
The #1 priority in my opinion should be a server browser and persistent servers, hell just combine AOW and Portal instead of having it as two separate experiences. Let us have the ability to choose servers based on map rotations, modes, ping, AND roll right into a new match without having to re-que, you know like every other Battlefield game ever made. Reducing the time it takes to get into the next match would be nice as well. It seems like all the parts and pieces are there just assemble it into an actual Battlefield experience.
Squad management, Platoon/Clan support, and bring back all chat, I would like to talk to the other team just to say "good game" or "nice shot" and yeah maybe even trash talk a bit, just have the ability to mute it so the tender folks out there don't get their little feelers hurt.
Absolutely add more content, more maps, weapons, vehicles hell anything besides more skins, there is already so many skins in this game we need stuff that actually impacts gameplay NOT more skins.
