General enjoyment went downhill after 5.0.

After playing 5.0 for a little while I feel like overall enjoyment from the game went downhill.

AR changes were stupid. Plain and simple. Instead of fixing a weapon based on its performance, you nerfed everything flat for no reason. This meant that some weapons stayed OP - RM68 says hello. Other guns such as AC42, ScarH became practically useless. Despite you selling skins for them. I think semi-auto and burst fire should never be affected by any kind of spread. It takes a lot of  skill to use those modes effectively, and thus they should be rewarding.

Instead of nerfing good players, you know gave good players even more power to dominate noobs. I do enjoy it, I won't lie. It's satisfying owning low-skill trash when they're dumping 40-50 rounds full auto and missing every shot. But this is direct way to get rid of more players because they don't want to learn. They will just leave and go play something else. Besides its plain stupid when your AR has an accuracy of a shotgun, and other AR is still laser accurate for no reason.

Do you plan to turn LMGs into MMGs from BF5? Are you out of your mind? You now want people to camp atop skyscrapers and bipod? There is enough camping in this game. We need to give players a reason to PTFO instead of sitting in a bush all game.

The damage indicator is now bugged and shows random gibberish. It wasn't accurate before, but at least you could rely on it from time to time. Now it constantly shows random damage numbers, and always shows 100+ damage when I fight a single player, today I got 1350 damage numbers when meleed a camper. It's all over the place, I honestly have no idea how it went past QA and made it into the build.

Highly anticipated jet rockets are totally useless. No idea why you would even add them in such state.

And we have to wait until you fix the current weapon balance and introduce even more problems when "fixing" other categories.

My suggestion is simple - revert AR changes and get back to the drawing board. Balance each weapon according to its class / current performance. Increase recoil to prevent lasering from high distances, leaving a skill window for top players to learn.

@BigShottt I don't really understand this "You're a pvp player" term here. My guy, we're talking about a multiplayer FPS. Besides, I play all types of games. FPS, MMORPG, Roleplaying open world etc.

I call things by their name, plain and simple. Atleast I don't lie to myself like those people do. Coming into a multiplayer game and spending over half of their time in the respawn screen or wondering what the hell they're doing when they spawn, and calling it "Playing for fun". Thats what a waste of time and money looks like.

Honestly? I'm really disappointed and disgusted by this season, even though it's still the beginning. The signs of a disaster were already clear when some genius on the staff decided to put RAM in the same category as tanks. Then there's the spread rework applied to everything (either all or nothing, you know these phenomena 🤦), and finally the total rework of vehicle equipment, turning it into an AA arsenal...

Instead of properly balancing the vehicles, someone lazy decided to just add more AA to fight helicopters. All we needed was a balance among all the vehicles, but why am I surprised when the path of this disastrous chapter was already clear? And don't get me started on the planes that were supposed to have improved movements and dogfighting, but nothing has changed, I mean, I'm piloting a fighter and feeling nauseous at the same time, from the movement to the weapons (and seriously, I'm not looking to massacre infantry or anything, but what the hell are Hydra rockets even good for?) It's all just terrible... 🤦

You know what? NO PREORDER anymore, no dayone purchase, nothing. This is our weapon against you.

@UP_LordPlumber Since you asked...PvP=competitive (humans vs humans), PvE=non-competitive (humans vs bots)...BOTH are multiplayer FPS.

I was just suggesting a common solution to your problem which is often associated with open public servers, that's all.

Anyway was just trying to help. You seem to be really angry, and I don't want to make it worse so lets just forget it.

I think nerfing (some) guns are the right way to go, because automatic fire has become too deadly at mid/long range.

Apparantly Dice knows nothing about math or any rational thinking and just starts 'turning knobs' to see what happens. They can do that in internal playtests (or CTE-versions), but they shouldn't do this in the official game, it just frustrates and confuses the players and makes them look stupid.

@cso7777 no internal testing or a community test server saves money. And EA and DICE just call the repeated beta versions they force on the players „live service“. Big win for big money…
