This was a bug. It was fixed in BF4. It made the gunplay worse. It will not stop jumpshotting like you think it will.
If you want to stop jumpshotting (I don't), the solution to that is ridiculously simple and you do not need to gimp the game in creative ways to accomplish it - increase spread mid-jump. That's it.
I am also sick and tired of those people who “jump shoot” etc.
It immediately ruins the immersion for me and thus the fun,
