There are not enough rockets. Nobody is playing engineers. You might get 2 on the map in a game. Select your tab key and look for the wrench next to names. You might see two.

Correct, but if you add the soflam to the vehicle air and ground then you could have more designation instead of waiting for an engineer with a rocket or a sniper to designate.. Also guided shells on a tank or other vehicles should be available for that vehicle on vehicle warfare.
CTIV + guided shell on BF3 tanks was a lot of fun. I'd welcome it back.
