Who'd have thunk the heli-balancing got worse over time.
DICE managed to neuter the Wildcat and NOT be a hard counter against the attack heli anymore. Wildcat even has serious problems against stealth heli's. Shameful.
@Wargame_Enj0yer As if that wasn't bad enough they then pretty much removed the Wildcat from most maps. Good luck finding 1 in Breakthrough. Seems the devs really love air power
They are not going to buff the Wildcat because the 3 streamers on duty would simply jump on them and that is not in their interest, to this day Mr. Ashe is still asking for a nerf for Lis when it has already been nerfed along with the rest of the anti-air gadgets.
Just today I was playing a game where there was a guy slaughtering the team with his Nightbird, he was 55-0 I knocked him down and he started insulting me. Well that's what happens, pilots are very outrageous and that's why they are the spoiled of the game.

That's crazy. Liz has never been a reliable counter for heli's. She had that short lived buff, but even then, I don't think it was a good counter. Sure there's highlight reels of people getting some great shots, but it takes so many misses to get those.
I just don't get a lot of their mentality when it comes to balancing. Like Dozer, when he has his shield up, he shouldn't be able to sprint with it. Let alone chase someone down and one hit melee them with it. On top of all that he can swap to his primary with what looks like no delay what so ever. Baffling.
A slow moving, tanky, ground vehicle should be able to destroy a Helicopter quickly with little effort when that Pilot over extends. It's so basic and infuriating that they could get something that wrong. Imagine if an MMO or Overwatch gave tanks the most health, fastest movement, and the highest DPS.
I tried again with the wildcat against the attack helicopter: you start shooting at it, the tye turns around and destroys you in a few seconds...
So clearly the wildcat is now intended to counter infantry only.And the assault class is also completely useless against helicopters. I play bf4 and in bf4 the assault class is useful you can counter helicopters.
Great geniuses at Dice, they also managed the feat of making the assault class useless. Each time we think we've hit rock bottom but it's systematically more lamentable 😃
