I'm so tired of helicopters and air vehicles dominating. What is your deal Dice? Why do you have such a fetish for air vehicles dominating? Even Jets fly like Helicopters in this game! It's ridiculous. The Air superiority should be SECONDARY game play to Infantry. If you can't figure that out, that's pathetic.Why can an Attack Heli charge straight towards a Wildcat and completely out gun it? How the F is that balanced?! Jet's can just slowly do strafes, like a helicopter, and just hit you over and over, then turn around, and do it again. Why do flares regenerate sooner for air vehicle then ground vehicles?!I need a break from this Trash AGAIN. There's no way I'm spending a dime on the next game. Completely incompetent balancing and refusal of fixing and of the bugs that have persisted from release. Add new content without fixing the old.

There's only a couple spots open for Heli's, so most people spend the majority of their time on the ground as infantry. You're saying that you don't have much experience on the other end, and you don't play like a normal BF player. You wait in que just to fly the a Heli.Also, the gunners and people that usually live in the Helicopters in this game are usually slightly above to just average infantry players. I've seen maybe one exception in my personal experience.

I think the damage they do across the map is already really minimal, and there's usually so much cover that air vehicles just ignore you anyways. They need some real gamers to give feedback. How in the world does something that fly and have free-range of the map have more health then a slow moving vehicle?I was hitting all my shots and there's nothing that I can do personally to improve. It's just busted, and has been since release. Dice is just simply infactuated with Helicopters. It's bizarre.

I've also experienced both attack helis and jets melting my wildcat in seconds. There is no point to use wildcat at all, it's useless. Only way to play this game is to stay in indoor flag areas and avoid going out to field where you are just harvested.There is absolutely no chance to face air vehicles with ground vehicles and survive.

Personally I would be tweaking the Wildcats to do even more max damage up close while reducing their min damage over long distances.

They should be better at defending themselves and the immediate area while also having less impact on aircraft across the map.
Aka to encourage them to get closer to the front with a good balance or risk and reward.

I have also seen a good attack heli charge at two less skilled wildcats close to each other and melting them both.
This is definitely less of a heli power issue and more of a need for a close range buff for the Cats

Who'd have thunk the heli-balancing got worse over time.
DICE managed to neuter the Wildcat and NOT be a hard counter against the attack heli anymore. Wildcat even has serious problems against stealth heli's. Shameful.

Just like they renamed the flying transports to Gunships, the Wildcat should be renamed to Housecat ! They even usually stay back at home (aka the spawn). At the early days they would be truly Wild and go to the front with the rest of the team to hunt prey in both the air and ground !

@RaginSam BF1 and BFV had issues as well. That was mostly because bombs and infantry are a very bad combination, but good pilots could farm infantry almost endlessly (especially in BF1). BF4 had issues with thermals on land/sea-vehicles, so it wasn't without problems either.

Combined warfare is BFs biggest strength but also its biggest weakness. Dice have never found the right formula and I think that now, new players just give up (it is stupid) and many of the BF-vets are just getting tired of seeing the same issues over and over.

@cso7777 It was definitely an issue in BF5 as well, I skipped BF1 but played every BF game since BFBC2, and I’m sure it’s been a persistent issue this whole time. I’m just so burned out with air vehicles being untouchable. It’s not good game design.
