@Daeyon-be It entirely depends on the direction he takes it. If battlefield just becomes an extension of his other projects no thanks. Battlefield needs its own identity, last thing I want to see is battlefield go full apex/titanfall.
- @WinterbornGuard EXACTLY. Apex is a mess. What are they in 12 seasons now? and season 1 problems are still issues...specifically the game plays like trash and hitreg has never been worth a crap.
I love Apex's BR forumula. It is best in class to me with the legends and gameplay but fell short in the performance and quality to the point I quit beginning of season 4. Every time I re-install to see for myself how the game plays...same crap that made me quit is still there.
BF is unique and they have continually dumbed it down over the years that 2042 is the dumbest version of it. All we wanted was BF4 vehicle and air asset physics, levolution, BFVs fortification and player movement systems without losing all the squad play aspects.
I remain optimistic because, I have been through this Hate-Love cycle of releases before. I hated BFV at first but now love it. Just hoping I can love 2042 enough to drop 1000 hours on it.@GRiPSViGiLgameplay wise my biggest issue with apex is that everyone is a bullet sponge.. individuals can play like a brainless gorilla and as long as you have good reflex and dexterity with your chosen input you don't even need strategy or team play. Although I am bias towards brutally punishing highstakes experiences like Tarkov. 2042 could absolutely save itself short term by adding a command structure back into the game and in game comms as well as allowing large groups of friends to join in together.
