Yeah, it’s tantamount to gaslighting the whole BF community.
I personally find it quite offensive that dice haven’t addressed the server browser/MM. Issue. Especially for people in countries where it’s especially bad.
It’s simple, state whether or not your going to change it or not. And then we can either wait and hold you to your word or just delete a game we won’t play and move on.
the damage is already done. I’m not buying another game until it’s dirt cheap in a sale. They ripped me off with BF2042, I’m just not going to buy a brand new game on principle.

i mean if i were in their shoes i'd also do anything else but communicate.
even the most tonedead employee at DICE who worked on 2042 must know how absolutely horrible this product is and that nothing they do/say will ever redeem them.
i mean i want them to talk to us but lets be honest with ourself if you believe anything coming from this studio you are delusional. for example the fact that supposedly everyone works on 2042, yet we get miniscule updates that do not fix the fundamental issues? sure either they are lying or they laid off 75% of all employees and are that understaffed.
