It is a sensitive new breed of CMs. They would not dare to engage in real conversations about the game with the community. They cherry-pick which ones to engage in. They rarely, if ever respond to any criticism.
What they don't understand is we wouldn't be here if we didn't want the game to be a success. We aren't complaining just to complain. Just look at the player counts. This game is an abject failure regardless of perspective, but it doesn't have to be. They just need to listen to the community and bring back some core BF functionality to the game.

I don’t think Community Managers have any decision making powers or ability to engage beyond the official lines.
so I don’t have an issue with CMs. I take issue with the big honchos. That have decided not to formally comment on match making/server browser. And only vaguely alluded to updates to squad controls.
On a side note, it’s patently obvious the direction of the game is no longer focussed on team play, so I’m pretty much done.

They also don't respond to the average joe on game-breaking issues, but will immediately forward comments made by streamers. So I understand they don't have decision authority, but they are the conduit between the community and the developers, they are supposed to be "people persons", and are far from it.
I would say everyone associated with the game has to shoulder some of the blame from the top down.
I agree that the game's only association with the franchise is with its name. - LlamaWithKatana4 years agoSeasoned Ace

Either there is simply no one working at Dice during summer or they are to lazy to answer their consumers.

The title is incorrect. It says "Here we go again" but that implies there was communication from EA/DICE.
